We tried Melo's Pizza & Pasta, but ordered takeout for a special occasion. We like the food, but I think it might've been better if we had eaten in as opposed to takeout. It was highly recommended from some friends, and you could tell that it is a local favorite by the packed crowd. We ordered the pasta, carbonara, pasta with clams and red sauce, and some chicken wings to go. The carbonara pasta was good, it had peas, which I'm not used to having that dish. Overall, the taste was good, but they use pancetta as opposed to guanciale, which isn't the authentic way to prepare it. With clams and red sauce was good as well, but once again I think it would be better if we ate it in person. The chicken wings they were tasty, but a little soggy probably because they sweated on the ride home. Overall, I cannot speak for the service, but the ambience was very nice. I can't wait to actually visit again and try the food in house to try one of their infamous pizzas. Check them out, they must be good if they've expanded to other locations.

I ordered a pizza for pickup and man the kitchen was busy! I ordered a NYer and the online ordering was spot on with the timing. Delicious by the way. The folks front of house seem nice enough and having the staff means to me that they get a lot traffic. Was a bit expensive; I'm gunna give it another try before I fully decide if the cost is worth the quality.

Came in her a few days ago with my wife and as always the food tasted great. I've been coming here since I was a little kid and what I always remember from it was ordering the calamari and Fettuccia con pollo. Although the calamari isn't on the menu, you can always still ask the server as it is still available. Personally , i would've liked my calamari a bit crispier but it was still good nonetheless. My wife ordered the penne bistecca for the first time and told me that she thought it was very delicious. As for myself , I went with Melos infamous Fettuccia con pollo and just like every other time, it was amazing . Our server was also very friendly !

The moment you walk through the doors you know the food is going to be yummy. And boy was it! We started off with the burrata which is ooey yummy with the toasted bread. I ordered salmon and everything on that plate from the salmon cooked to your request, I like mine medium not too done. The broccoli was crispy and so were the potatoes. Perfection. My mom ate the pizza and well I couldn't help but try it. Their pizza bread is so dang good. Straight from the over, tossed fresh & cooked crisp. You really cannot go wrong w dishes as they will cook it to ur liking. The service was great too. Thankyou for always delivering great service.

I typically order from the Brentwood location, but decided to try this one for the first time. While placing my order through DoorDash I saw that I couldn't substitute calamari with extra shrimp in the Linguine Pescatora. I called the restaurant, and Pablo was incredibly helpful. He ensured they could accommodate my request even though it was an online order. The Linguine Pescatora was fantastic. I also got a Fusilli Contadina for my wife which she loves and always finds delicious it's very filling so she usually saves some for later which she says tastes good cold as well. The garlic bread with cheese was also excellent. However, the kids' mac and cheese for my two year old was a letdown as the cheese was burnt which gives it a nasty scent and flavor. Overall, I recommend this location and I really appreciate Pablo's excellent customer service. Thanks again Pablo.

We were in the Walnut Creek area, not so familiar with the area. Thanks to Yelp for making it so easy for us to find an Italian restaurant. Melo's staff are very accommodating. Our server is super nice. She made us feel very comfortable. The manager was super friendly too. The food we ordered were all freshly cooked; and, tasted authentic Italian food. Reasonably priced. The atmosphere has a real good vibes. We will definitely come back to Melo's.

They seem to have expanded this restaurant since the last time we visited it a few years ago. The restaurant was almost full on a Friday evening, so the service was a bit slow, but the ambiance was still great. The restaurant was clean, tidy, and our waitress was friendly. My fave from this restaurant is still their Fettuccia con Pollo. This dish is flat ribbon-shaped pasta with chicken breast, zucchini, and chopped pancetta, served in sherry cream sauce. The cream sauce was delicious and savory. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The zucchini added a nice touch of vegetables. The chicken breast was good and tender too. Don't forget to soak up the cream sauce using the complimentary bread they give you. Also, worth mentioning was their Caesar salad, which was super delicious and creamy. It was so good to the point that I wasn't sure anymore if the salad was actually healthy. Lol. But I would get this again on any day. Definitely the best Caesar salad that I've ever had in my life.
